Inaugration of New NSIC building in Banglore

Shri Kalraj Mishra, Hon’ble Union Minister for MSMEs, Govt of India inaugurates NSIC, New Building in Bangalore on 8th March 2015. Hon’ble Minister has announced 10 New Incubators for Karnataka which is a new milestone for MSME sector in Karnataka. He appreciated NSIC’s all the schemes and services. In this scenario role of NSIC, nodal organization for promotion of MSMEs with the Ministry is remarkable. It has devised number of schemes to support MSMEs and has been providing integrated support to them in the filed of technology, marketing, credit and information. Particularly schemes like Credit Rating which enhances the credit worthiness of MSMEs, strategic alliance with commercial banks to facilitate credit to MSME, Training cum Incubation to create self employment, providing Raw Material support MSMEs. He said that NSIC is not only developing MSMEs in India, It has been doing a commendable job in developing MSMEs in other countries also. He shared his experience about NSIC role in development of MSMEs in Rwanda and South Africa. He also informed that NSIC is establishing 10 rapid Incubation centers in African countries, and has been approached by many developing countries for developing their policies for MSME development.
