Union Minister Kalraj Mishra today said the government is steadfast in its resolve to promote industrial technologies in the country to improve production.
“Our government is committed to overcome all types of challenges by promoting industrial technologies and improving productivity both qualitatively and quantitatively,” Mishra said at the inauguration of Asian Machine Tool Exhibition.
India stands 13th in production and 6th in the consumption of machine tools in the world. The four-day fair aims to provide a platform for industries like aerospace, automobiles, defence, electrical and electronics instrument, material handling, etc.
The Minister also inaugurated ELASIA-2014, an exhibition supported by ITMA (Indian Transformers Manufacturers Association) and DETA (Delhi Electrical Traders Association) at Pragati Maidan here.
