Chief Guest in I.G.A. Perth Royal Show, Australia

A special team under the leadership of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Minister, Govt. of India Shri Kalraj Mishra who is invited as a Chief Guest in I.G.A. Perth Royal Show to be organised in Perth, Australia from 27th Sept. to 04th October, 2014 is visiting Perth. In this show, 72 Small Entrepreneurs from various fields are going to exhibit their products.
Small manufacturers of tourism, academics, handicraft, garments, home textiles, leather products, gem and jewellery, cosmetics, tea, candles and perfume etc. are participating who will display their products and discuss on the possibilities of export promotion and joint collaborations.
Before starting his journey Shri Mishra said that small industries in Australia hold a significant position in its economy. Small and cottage industries in that country has an important place in the livelihood of people there. S.M.E. in our country also has a significant place and both countries can strengthen their economy by collaborating with each other. Both countries can explore scope of new partnerships by sharing of technology, raw material, marketing products, etc.
Shri Mishra will visit small medium industrial areas and have an exposure of technology and research in Perth along with interacting with Governor and other prominent persons there. Australian Govt. has also invited representatives of small and medium industries of the country who will have interaction with cabinet minister Shri Kalraj Mishra and will know the operation system of Micro and Small Enterprises in India. Our officers visiting there will also meet officers and industrial representatives and discuss the possibilities of mutual cooperation. Moreover, Hon’ble Minister will inaugurate the Indian pavilion in this fair. Along with meeting Indian High Commissioner, he will meet people of India origin and call upon to cooperate in MSME sector.
Nearly 4 lac people visit the fair which is one of the largest fairs organised in Australia in which 40-50 thousand people of India origin also participate. Entrepreneurs from various other countries are participating in this fair. Such exhibitions prove to be a good opportunity for manufacturers and buyers where they can share knowledge and Technology and showcase their products. We can increase the possibilities of export by meeting with buyers from various countries and improve ourselves from their suggestions. Buyers and sellers can mutually benefit from each other by establishing dialogue in these fair.
Hon’ble Minister Sh. Kalraj Mishra is confident that participating teams from India will certainly benefit from it and boost collaboration between India and Australia focusing on the MSME Sector
