The micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) located in the North Eastern region of the country have urged Union MSME Minister Kalraj Mishra to set up multi-product clusters in the region. Mishra was in Guwahati on Sunday, where is inaugurated a seminar organized by Laghu Udyog Bharti (LUB) on MSME (Back Bone of Nation). Govt to run 500 incubation centres for SMEs

The government is taking various steps, including help start-ups to get easy loans and opening 500 incubation centers in the country, for encouraging Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector. We have decided that we will run 500 incubation centres in the country. At present there are only 84 centres. I request the corporate sector to encourage people to open these centres. A delegation of the Apex Chamber of Commerce and Industry met minister for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) Kalraj Mishra and apprised him about the situation in the sector, especially in Punjab.
